In your essay, you are to comment on the phenomenon described in the passage and suggest measures to address the issue.You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words. Nowadays star chasing is prevalent among many teenagers. They take pop stars as their idols, imitating their way of talking, following their style of dressing,and seeking every chance to meet them in person at great expenses.

With the development of material life and modern communications, young people nowadays are often lost in idol worship, imitating their idols’way of talking and dressing regardless of the results.What's more,they never give up any chance to meet their idols even at a great cost.

This prevalent phenomenon,from my respective.is a double-edged sword which can deeply influence mental and physical health of young people. There is no denying the fact that some teenagers consider certain idols as their role models and they will bring spiritual encouragement to teenagers, thus stimulating teenagers’interest in studying in order to get close to their idols. However, the obsession with idols will certainly waste teenagers a great money and time, with inciting them to flaunt wealth or indulge in luxury

Therefore, some measures should be taken to curb this trend. The substantial support from government and active guidance from schools are essential factors to alleviate such situation. More importantly,parents who usually play a significant role in children's life are supposed to accompany their children as much as possible and give assistance when children encounter tricky problems. Only by this can children live in a happy atmosphere and not be immersed in blind worship
